1. Posting as anonymous vs Identified
On Rungway you can be:
Anonymous
When you're anonymous (when you create an anonymous discussion, react to a post or reply to a Pulse question) your identity is never revealed. Privacy and trust are core to the Rungway brand - anonymity is guaranteed.
Identified
When you're identified (If you choose to be when you create a discussion or when you reply to a discussion) your profile is visible to everyone and everything you post will be connected with your profile.
2. Reply publicly or privately
On Rungway you can reply:
Publicly
If you post a reply to a discussion publicly everyone on Rungway can read your post. You might choose this setting if your reply is applicable to everyone.
Privately
If you post a reply privately only you and the original author can read your post. You might choose this setting if you want to engage in a 1-1 private conversation with someone.
3. Do more from the card
If you're ever looking for additional options for a post, like editing, deleting or reporting, check the 3 dot menu ⠸ . You'll find it located in the top right corner of a card.
👉🏻 You can only edit posts before you receive the first reply
You can also choose to get notified about new activity on any discussion by clicking the 'Notify me' button.

4. Take control of your notifications
Make your notifications work for you by selecting the ones that really matter. Head to your notification settings on the web and mark the ones you want to appear in your in-app notifications list (on the left) or via email (on the right). Your selection will save automatically!
👉🏻 We are working on separating mobile push notifications to give you more control, but for now, they are linked to the in-app notifications
