How do I know if I can use Rungway on Teams?
If your organisation uses Rungway and Teams, and you have an account on both platforms using the same email address you can use Rungway on Teams.
If your company currently has Rungway but you have not received an invite you can request one by clicking here.
If your organisation has not yet signed up to Rungway, you can book a demo and get the conversation started.
Is my identity protected when I post anonymously on Rungway through Teams?
Absolutely. Using the Runway app through Teams is exactly like using Rungway on the web. All the same assurances we have around your identity remain the same.
If you decide to use Rungway through Teams to post anonymously on the platform you will always remain anonymous unless you break any of the terms of use of Rungway.
Can other users on Teams see my Rungway app?
You can access the Rungway app from within any team or channel with the guarantee that your user experience is private.
Each user that logs into your company Rungway will have their own unique interface, just as when you browse Rungway on the web. All information and data that you will see in your private Rungway Teams app will not be shared with any individual or group that you add Rungway to.
How will Teams notify me of new Rungway content?
If you already use a Rungway platform elsewhere, your notification settings will automatically be transferred onto your Teams Rungway.
For all users, Teams offers two ways to stay up to date with new content: tab and chat notifications. These setting can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
If you are an admin user on your Rungway account, you will be familiar with receiving dashboard notifications to your email.
You will not be alerted of these notifications in the Teams chat, however, you can access your newsfeed within the tab just as you would from a browser.
Can I post directly to Rungway from within the chat?
No. Your trust in Rungway and peace of mind is of paramount importance to us, which is why we have limited the Teams chatbot to include information about notifications only.
You can post a discussion to your Rungway by navigating to the Teams Rungway tab, and then clicking on the Start a Discussion button.
How do I sign out of Rungway on Teams?
If you no longer wish to use the Rungway app on Teams, you can uninstall it by right-clicking on the Rungway app and selecting "Uninstall".
When you use Rungway on an internet browser our security measure will automatically sign you out after 24 hours. Due to the enhanced verification process when you log in to Rungway on Teams, we are able to protect your account for longer, allowing you to stay logged in at all times with the same level of security.
