đ These content guidelines apply to any and all material which you contribute to the Rungway platform.
Rungway is a platform for people to seek and share advice, feedback and personal views from right across their organisation.
Rungway is a moderated platform. We do not guarantee that all contributions you post will be published. Where questions are posted relating to specialist or sensitive topics, those questions may be directed in the first instance to the appropriate specialist within your organisation to post the first response. Such questions may not appear on the public feed straight away or at all if your organisation decides that the matter is best dealt with privately with you. Rungway does not guarantee that every question will receive a response from your organisation.
On Rungway, we ask you to be thoughtful around your posts and to avoid:
Inappropriate or unprofessional language for your workplace
Personal criticism of named individuals
A breach of your local laws or regulations
Posting unauthorised advertising or promotional material
Rungway is a place for people to support each other - so please assume positive intent from responders!
Why might a post not be seen on the main feed straight away?
Rungwayâs ethos is that every question should get the right advice from the right people. This means not every question will appear on the main, public feed immediately. If a question raises a specialist topic, or relates to a sensitive personal situation, your organisation might want the right specialist responder to have the opportunity to provide the first answer. Your question will automatically be routed to that specialist responder first, and youâll get a message from Rungway explaining this. So please be patient, and you will receive a response from the appropriate responder as quickly as possible, while remaining completely anonymous if you posted under the Anonymous setting.
Why might a post be taken down from the main feed?
A post may be removed if the creator closes it themselves or if it is reported by other members and upon review, deemed inappropriate. Rungway automatically scans all posts. If comments within a thread are of a sensitive nature and require a specialist responder, that discussion might be routed to the specialist responder for a 1-1 reply.
Another reason your organisation may ask us to close a discussion might be if theyâve decided to archive posts after a certain period of time in order to keep all the advice on your Rungway current and up to date.
No discussion is âdeletedâ unless it has broken the Terms of Use.

Your employer may decide if any further action is required according to its internal employment policies. If a second-time violation occurs, we will send you an email warning, remove your content, and we may permanently block you from being able to access Rungway. We will also notify your employer of your name if you are blocked from Rungway.
If you have a question about this, feel free to chat to us on Intercom (icon found in the bottom right of your screen) or email [email protected].
Will my anonymity ever be revealed?
When you choose to start a discussion under the âanonymousâ setting, or if you answer a pulse (where all respondents are anonymous) we promise you that nobody in your organisation will know who you are - not management, not HR, not anyone. Thatâs how Rungway works.
The only times your anonymity would not be upheld are clearly defined in our Terms of Use:
if you misuse the platform (for example abusing colleagues or using hateful language - see your Terms of Use),
if you threaten harm to yourself or someone else
if you break the law.
Unless you do one of these three things, you are 100% anonymous.
